Reg has over 2 decades of experience specializing in Wealth Management, and 8 years as the former Branch Manager in the London, Ontario office of National Bank Financial.
Reg is a Vice President and a Portfolio Manager. Reg attended The University of Western Ontario, completing three years of financial and economic studies before graduating with an Honours Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business. He has continued his education by completing the requirements for the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FSCI), the Financial Management Advisor (FMA), the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and most recently the prestigious designation Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) which is the only wealth management designation built specifically to manage the complex financial needs of affluent clients. Reg has his Level 2 Life Insurance license and is a Personal Financial Planner (PFP) – and is fully licensed to provide investment advice in many U.S. states.
Reg is part owner of the Westover Inn, in St. Marys. He is an active member of the community, involved with the London Health Sciences Foundation’s Country Classic Action, the United Way and other local charitable organizations.
Reg is married with one child who he spends a lot of time driving to soccer and watching as many games as possible.
For recreation, Reg is an avid golfer, enjoys squash and listening to a diverse selection of music.

With well over 20 years of experience, Paul spends the majority of his time with clients working towards their investment and wealth planning goals. He is strongly dedicated to fulfilling those goals for clients and views the changing financial markets as a welcome challenge.
Strongly committed to continuing his education, Paul is a Canadian Investment Manager (CIM), a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI), a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and a Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM). Paul has lived his entire life in the London area and graduated with an Honours Economics degree from King’s College at The University of Western Ontario in 1995.
He is an active member of the community, involved with the London Community Foundation, the United Way and other local church, sports and charitable organizations. He has coached various kids hockey teams for many years and loves spending time at the rink.
Paul is married and has three teenage children. When he has time after his family and clients, Paul enjoys hockey, golf and reading biographies. Growing up in the country, Paul also has a special interest in farming and has a small cash crop operation.
With Adam Watson, Rob operates the Watson Wealth Management Group and is responsible for the daily operations as well as the investment strategy for the Team.
Rob has over 35 years of investment experience specializing in Wealth Management and over 30 years as the former Manager of Chatham Branch of National Bank Financial. Over 30 years of Rob’s investment career has been at National Bank Financial in Chatham, Ontario. Rob is a Vice President and a Portfolio Manager.
Rob attended Wilfrid Laurier University where he earned an Honours Bachelors of Business Administration. Rob played varsity football while at Laurier earning his Letterman Jacket, Rob also graduated as the first male recipient of the AAA Award (highest grade point average for a male varsity athlete). Rob is a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and he has completed a Certificate in Estate Planning and Trust Strategy. Rob continued his education by completing the requirements for the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FSCI), Rob has his Level 2 Life Insurance License and he is a Personal Financial Planner (PFP). He is licenced in many Provinces in Canada and US States.
Rob has been an active volunteer in the local community serving on the Board of Directors of the Chatham-Kent Family Health Team for 8 years. He was also active in Doctor recruitment for 10 years. Rob has also been a Rotarian for over 30 years in Chatham receiving a Paul Harris Fellow Award. Rob was recognized for his volunteering by the Province of Ontario when he received the Ontario Volunteer Service Award. Rob has also been recognized by the Chatham Chamber of Commerce as Business Professional of the Year – Business Excellence Awards. He was also Coach of the Year as awarded by the Wallaceburg Sports Hall of Fame for his success coaching a basketball team to win an Ontario Provincial Championship.
In addition to his community awards, Rob has received many industry and firm awards: Wealth Management Excellence of the Year, Social Commitment Award, Awards of Excellence for Portfolio Management Excellence – National Finalist, Semi-Finalist Award of Distinction – Ontario for two years in a row.
Rob and his wife Kellie have 1 son, 2 daughters, 1 son-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law and 3 granddaughters. For recreation, Rob and Kellie love to travel. In the summer you will find them on their boat wakeboarding or teaching others to wakeboard. In the winter they are avid snow skiers, and Rob plays regular pick-up hockey.
Jaden is an Associate Investment Advisor with nearly two decades of industry experience. After graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in 1998, Jaden worked for a year in Tokyo, Japan, as an English Language Instructor. He entered the financial services industry in 2000 and joined the National Bank Financial group in 2002. Jaden is the President of The JMRD Wealth Management Team, which entails managing the operational aspects of the business. He also acts as the team’s head trader and is very active in managing the JMRD Baskets and JMRD Models, the latter which he created in 2016.
Jaden is committed to career development as evidenced by his Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designation. Jaden also possesses Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation, which is the first step in becoming a Portfolio Manager, which he will strive for as his next designation.
Jaden is married with three children and lives in a rural area near St. Marys, which is where grew up. In his leisure time he enjoys playing golf and hockey, watching baseball and travelling. He is also a big supporter of the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame, located in St. Marys Ontario. Over the years Jaden has coached local boys’ hockey and baseball teams, has been a Board of Stewards at his local church and has volunteered on allocation committees with the United Way.
Zach is an Investment Advisor and Portfolio Manager at National Bank Financial and a Partner with the JMRD Wealth Management Team with over 20 years of experience in Wealth Management. Zach graduated from Ryerson with a Bachelor of Business Management and worked as an Investment Associate with another Canadian investment firm before joining the National Bank Financial group in 2008. Zach is fully licensed in securities, funds and options. He enjoys the challenges of the investment markets and working with clients to provide them peace of mind for their financial future. Zach regularly reads many investment and financial blogs, listens to podcasts (both investment and sports related) and research. Zach has attracted a loyal client base and strives to follow an evidence-based investment approach which keys on relative strength indicators. As a part of his ongoing commitment to staying at the forefront of the industry, Zach is a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) has continued his education by completing the requirements for the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FSCI).
Zach is located in our Toronto office which allows us to provide a more convenient location for our clients in and around the GTA. Zach is an avid reader, a Toronto Blue Jays, Pittsburgh Steelers, Toronto Raptors and New York Islanders fan, a crossfit enthusiast and also enjoys spending time with his family.
Steve is an Investment Advisor, Insurance Advisor and Portfolio Manager at National Bank Financial with more than 18 years of experience in Wealth Management. Steve graduated with a diploma in Business Administration – Management Studies from Conestoga College and spent 13 years managing business units in the healthcare industry. He entered the financial services industry in 2001 and joined National Bank Financial in 2011.
Steve is a Personal Financial Planner (PFP), has his Level 2 life insurance license and a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM). He enjoys the challenges of working with clients and their other advisors to develop tax and estate planning strategies, and he is located in our Waterloo office.
Steve is married with two children and lives in Kitchener. He is a volunteer and sits on the Board of Directors with Chicopee Ski and Summer Resort. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling and skiing.

Adam has over 13 years experience specializing in wealth management. However, this is the career he has prepared for his whole life as a second generation Investment Advisor who grew up working with his Mom and Dad in high school, university and beyond.
Adam furthered continued his financial education by completing the requirements for the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FSCI), Adam has his Level 2 Life Insurance License and he is a Personal Financial Planner (PFP) and earning the designation Financial Management Advisor (FMA) a program designed to prepare industry professionals as leaders in the complex and evolving field of wealth management. Adam is a Portfolio Manager. He is licenced in many Provinces in Canada and US States. Adam has been a volunteer with the Wallaceburg Sports Hall of Fame since his Grandfather started taking him meetings and giving him jobs at the age of 5. Adam continues to attend meetings with his Grandfather with this important local group He is a member on the Annual Award Selection Committee. Adam has been busy over the few last years, getting married and starting a family. Adam and Jocelyn are the parents to a little girl and they are very involved in her daily life and her very busy social calendar. When Adam is not at work or chasing his daughter, in his spare time, Adam enjoys playing hockey, golfing, the Toronto Blue Jays, Michigan Wolverines and sports in general. Along with Robert Watson and Adam Watson, Vince operates on the Watson Wealth Management Group and is responsible for the daily operations of his clients. Vince works together helping to serve their client’s financial needs.
Vince has over 35 years experience specializing in investment management as an Investment Advisor. Clients find value in his experience as Vince has lived through both the highs and lows of multiple market cycles. Vince attended the University of Guelph where he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science (BSc – Agriculture). In addition he obtained comprehensive knowledge obtained through studying “Partners, Directors and Senior Officers Course” which studies expended and detailed knowledge of security industry rules and regulations. This depth of knowledge should provide you with comfort and security. He can provide you with detailed investment analysis “Chartered Investment Manager - 1”. If you wish to trade futures for clients “Derivative Fundamentals” is required to trade on these markets. He is licenced in many Provinces in Canada and US States.
Vince volunteered with the local high schools coaching both male basketball and football for many years (1987 – 2005 and 2009 – 2012). In total he helped coach these local teams to win in total: 11 junior championships - county, 6 senior championships – county, 3 senior Lambton-Kent championships and 2 senior SWOSSA championships. In 2011, he coached Wallaceburg District Secondary School football to victory winning the 2011 Western Bowl – AA Championship.
The year 2006 brought the birth of his son Vinny. In 2012, Vince had retired from coaching high schools sports to take his son to the hockey rink where he sometimes coaches. Lately however, when Vince is not at work or driving his son Vinny around to his many athletic events, Vince enjoys family time, the Detroit Red Wings (pick a team), wine tours (he is a wine connoisseur) and sports in general.
Joe is an Investment Associate and Business Development Director for the JMRD Watson Wealth Management Team.
Joe has over 5 years of Wealth Management experience and has been in the personal finance industry since graduating from Carleton University with a B.A. Honours Degree in 2007.
In 2011, Joe’s career path took him from Ottawa to Toronto where he worked as a Customer Service Associate and then as a National Sales Associate for a discount brokerage. He moved to London in 2014, and after a brief stint as a Financial Service Representative at a local financial institution, Joe joined the JMRD Wealth Management team in September 2015.
Joe holds both the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), and Conduct and Practices Handbook designations. He is passionate about following the stock markets and current events and has exhibited a personal bent toward customer service and client experience throughout his career.
Joe is an active volunteer in the London community serving on the Investment Committee for the London Community Foundation and assisting with the annual United Way campaign. Joes passion for cycling and has also lead him to be a board member for the Ilderton Gravel Cycling challenge in support of Fowler Kennedy and their concussion research program.
Joe and his wife, Liz, are thrilled to be living in London and have recently purchased their first home. In his free time, Joe can be found golfing and road cycling in the summer and cross country skiing all winter.
Marie has been a financial planner for over 20 years, providing comprehensive financial planning advice to a wide range of clients, including business owners, senior executives, physicians and retirees. Marie provides wealth management solutions and financial strategies in the areas of retirement planning, tax planning, cash management, estate and gift planning, and insurance planning. As a planner, Marie has worked in a variety of financial institutions: niche-market financial institutions (educators and physicians), bank-owned wealth management divisions and a small financial planning firm dealing with high net worth clients.
Marie obtained her Honours Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Ottawa and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Registered Financial Planner (RFP), Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) designations.

Sue was born in Regina, Saskatchewan and has lived in Ottawa and Winnipeg before moving to London to attend Fanshawe College.
While living in London she started her career in the financial services industry in 1995 with CIBC as a customer service representative. She continued working with CIBC in various positions such as a financial service representative, assistant manager and branch manager over her 17-year career with the bank.
During the latter part of her time with CIBC she became a mom to 3 wonderful sons and after the third one was born, she decided to stay at home to raise her 3 children until they were all in school full time.
Sue then joined the JMRD Watson team in 2016 part-time as the team’s event coordinator. Her love for organizing fundraising events brought her to National Bank Financial to help the team with the many client events they put on throughout the year. Sue recently became a full-time member of the team and her role has evolved to the Team Manager, which includes additional duties such HR tasks, while continuing to function as the team’s event coordinator.
In her spare time Sue loves to be with her children and cheer them on in their very busy lives of hockey and baseball and other various sports. She also is an active member of the hockey and baseball boards in her town as well as her children’s school council.
Carol is a lawyer and Chartered Professional Accountant with over 25 years of taxation, legal and trust expertise including personal and corporate tax and estate planning.
She graduated from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton with a bachelor's in business administration and received her Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie University in Halifax. She was admitted to the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society in 1987 and the Law Society of Ontario in 2002. She received her professional accounting designation in 1990 and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Tax Foundation.
Carol brings a unique combination of accounting, legal and life insurance expertise to our team of experts as her previous work experience includes a wealth management firm, a life insurance company and a large trust company. She has written several articles, spoken at seminars and conferences on tax and estate planning issues and has led sessions for the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) of Canada's In-Depth Tax Course and taught tax at the University of Toronto and CPA Ontario's summer school.
Catherine was born in Okinawa, Japan and grew up in Kitchener, Ontario. While living in Toronto for 20 years, she gained her initial investment experience at Desjardins Securities in 2001 before joining National Bank Financial in January of 2006. With 18 years in the financial services industry, she has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conducts and Practices (CPH) and is licensed and registered as an Investment Representative.
Catherine is located at our Waterloo Office. She has a 10-year-old son named Phoenix who shares in her passion for gardening, baking and golfing. During her down time she enjoys learning to play guitar, writing poetry and experimenting with cooking. She is an avid golfer and seizes every opportunity to play a round of golf with her mentor, her father.
Sarah is an Investment Associate with 18 years of experience in the financial services industry. After graduating from George Brown College with an Honours Diploma in Apparel Manufacturing Management, Sarah worked in showrooms & sales of Intimate Apparel & Swimwear moving on to sales for the Ontario Lottery Corporation. She entered the financial services industry in 2002 and joined National Bank Financial in 2006.
Sarah is personable and professional and has a tenacious pursuit of client service excellence. Sarah is a licensed Associate as she holds both the Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook designations, and presently working on Estates & Trust Administration course through the CSI.
Sarah has two children: Chloe who recently completed her Kinesiology degree at the University of British Columbia and is now at Western University to continue her education; and Thomas who is working for his grandfather’s business T.W. Johnstone while getting his trades tickets in natural gas pipelines.
Sarah loves fitness and has run many half marathons but now spends most of her time at the gym. She is an advocate of fashion, interior design and art. Most of all she enjoys the outdoors and hitting the trails with her energetic dog, Lola, and getting together with friends!
Kara is an Investment Associate with over 8 years in the financial service industry. She attended Wilfrid Laurier University for Communications, after which she went into Cosmetics for a couple years prior to joining National Bank Financial in 2011.
Kara is a licensed Associate as she holds both the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conducts and Practices (CPH) designations.
Kara enjoys fitness, traveling, spending time on the water and has recently discovered a new interest in golf. She can often be found going for walks or runs with her 4 year old German Shepherd – Maverick.
Wes Babbitt is an Investment Associate with JMRD Watson Wealth Management Team working out of the Chatham location. Wes joined the financial services industry in 2013 after attaining his degree in Applied Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University. Since joining the firm, Wes has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct & Practices Handbook to become a licensed associate, and continues to pursue additional education opportunities in Wealth Management, including the PFP and CIM designations.
Wes spends his free time as an amateur writer and publisher, a novice programmer, and an unremarkable artist. He is also an avid fan of animals, classic TV sitcoms and anything that’s been barbecued.
Born in Woodstock and raised in Strathroy, Matt came to London in 2002 and graduated from Fanshawe College with a Food and Beverage Management diploma. Working in the hospitality industry over the next eight years and working as a manager over the last four, he realized he was looking for a more in depth way to help people. Returning to Fanshawe College in 2011, he graduated with a Financial Planning diploma and completed his Canadian Securities Course (CSC). Starting at National Bank of Canada in April 2013 he worked as Front Line Advisor. Then in the beginning of February 2015, he was hired at National Bank Financial (JMRD Wealth Management Team) in London, completed his CPH and is an Investment Associate.
Matt currently has his FPSC Level 1 ® in Financial Planning and is working on becoming a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He married his lovely wife Dayna in May of 2014, purchased his first home in 2016 and welcomed his first child Layla in May of 2018. When he is not spending time with his wife and daughter, he loves to play soccer, run, cook, swim, go camping and spend time with friends and family.
Kevin is an Investment Associate who started with National Bank in 2014 in an operations role located in Toronto. He holds both the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) designations. Kevin grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia and is a graduate of St. Mary’s University. He spent nearly a decade working with the Ontario provincial government prior to working in the financial services industry.
Kevin is located in our Chatham branch. He prides himself on being very attentive to the clients needs and is always polite, helpful and approachable. A proud father of one, Kevin likes spending time training in the gym and playing in several soccer leagues while keeping his carbon footprint to a minimum.
Drew is an Investment Associate with the JMRD Watson Wealth Management team working primarily as Zach’s associate. Drew is from Exeter Ontario and spends time working in both the London and Toronto offices.
Drew has been working in the financial services industry since May 2018, joining the team soon after graduating from the University of Ottawa where he completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in finance.
While in school, Drew completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), and soon after joining the team he completed the Conducts and Practices Handbook (CPH) course meaning he is a fully licensed investment associate.
Outside of work Drew enjoys playing golf and hockey, reading finance, investing and personal growth books, and enjoys spending as much time as possible with friends and family.
James is an Investment Associate at National Bank Financial and an employee of the Watson Wealth Management Group since 2017. James graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. James is just beginning what will be a long career in the Investment Industry, assisting the advisors and managing the background processes of the office.
James is an avid reader, a wide-ranging sports fan, and a world traveller.
