2013 United Way Campaign

Paul Manders of JMRD has led the United Way campaign for several years at National Bank Financial – this year along with Brian Mills our Regional Manager came up with a new fundraising idea “Wine Survivor”.

Participants donated a bottle of wine to the final prize of 40 Bottles and bought raffle tickets – each week participants were eliminated survivor style from the competition – with “Tribal Council” sessions held each Friday – until only one remained.

We had a great time getting together with colleagues across all of National Bank’s lines of business in the London area and raised $1370 for the United Way which was matched by the firm for a total of $2740.

2013 is shaping up to be our of our best fundraising years yet!
